How to Lighten Skin With Fresh Lemons

Before starting, you need to create a lemon and milk mixture. It is important to squeeze the juice out of fresh lemons, rather than use bottled lemon juice. This is because bottled lemon juice is often diluted. Also, preservatives are added to make the juice last longer.

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and mix it with an equal amount of milk. This will cause the milk to curdle. The lactic acid in the milk will help exfoliate your skin and help with cell regrowth. The milk will also increase water retention in your skin. This will give you softer skin and will result in the lemon juice penetrating deeper into your skin.

Once you have the mixture ready:

  1. Test the mixture on a small area of your skin in case of an allergic reaction

  2. Soak a sponge in the mixture

  3. Using a circular motion, massage the mixture into your skin

  4. Apply the mixture for approximately 3 minutes

  5. Rinse the mixture off your skin with water and pat your skin dry

  6. If you are applying the mixture to your face, after massaging it into your skin, leave it for 10 minutes before patting it dry

  7. If the lemon juice drys your skin out, apply a moisturizer

  8. Apply the mixture no more than 3 times a week
